Charcoal feed is a natural product that has long been known to support gastrointestinal care. Due to its large surface area and the associated physical effects, biochar can help support digestion, particularly in cases of diarrhoea. This in turn can indirectly affect the horse's general well-being.

This optimised charcoal feed for cattle contains a finely ground mixture of different vegetable charcoals. Naturally dust-free.

Dosage:
Mix in approx. 0.5 % charcoal feed (of the daily feed ration) with the feed per day.
Example: 100 kg of feed requires 0.5 kg of Charcoal Feed for Cattle.

In the event of increased gastrointestinal complaints, the dosage can be doubled for a period of 2 days.

Note:
When medication is prescribed, supplementing the diet with charcoal feed must be suspended as there is the possibility that it might partially bind the active ingredient in the medication.
