CdG COPPER is a high-quality complementary feed that provides horses with essential copper in a readily available form. As a glycine chelate, the copper is bound to an amino acid. This organic structure is modelled on the natural form found in plants. This helps make the trace element highly bioavailable for the horse's body.

Copper is an essential component of daily metabolism. It is involved in the function of numerous enzymes, supports normal iron metabolism and contributes to haemoglobin formation. It also plays an important role in the formation of collagen and in maintaining normal elastic tissue and connective tissue structures.

The carrot powder it contains provides natural beta-carotene. As a precursor of vitamin A, it contributes to the nutritional support of the skin and mucous membranes. As daily basic feed, such as hay and grain, is often relatively low in copper, targeted supplementation can support a balanced supply. This applies to horses of all ages, but especially to growing foals, for which copper is an important element for normal development. CdG COPPER is rounded off with inulin.
