Description

Copper plays an important role in metabolism, the nervous system and collagen production. As there is little copper in regula feed, giving your horse a special mineral supplement is recommended. CDG Copper supplies this important mineral in its organic form bound to amino acids which can be optimally absorbed by the body.

Feeding recommendation:

  • The average daily copper requirement of a horse is approx. 125 mg per day, for foals approx. 75 mg.
  • Approx. 5 g of this product is recommended for a horse weighing 500 kg (contains approx. 125 mg copper)
  • 5 g corresponds to a 10 ml measuring spoon (included in the delivery)
  • When calculating the dosage, also take into account the amount of copper ingested through other foods
