Wald & Wiese - Muesli Herbs & Fibre Mix - Josera has developed an oat-free herbal muesli for horses that combines barley flakes with fibre-rich alfalfa, carefully selected herbs and pleasant peppermint oil. Also included are eucalyptus, thyme, spruce needles and ribwort plantain. Carrot pieces and apple fibre add a delicious taste.
The high fibre content encourages chewing and improved salivation. It also contains highly digestible barley, making the feed easier to digest. It has a reduced starch and sugar content (4.6%). Ideal for horses with sensitive digestion and horses with reduced energy requirements.
Feeding recommendation:
Depending on activity level, approx. 150-500 g per 100 kg of body weight per day to cover energy requirements.
- Around 2 kg per day is sufficient to cover the vitamin and mineral requirements of a large horse.
- For smaller feeding quantities, supplementation with Joker Mineral or Kraut & Rüben Mineral - Flax & Fibre Mineral.
