Marstall Mountain Meadow Mash is a grain-free, low-sugar mash for horses, designed to gently support the stomach, intestines, and normal digestion.

Feeding recommendation:
Daily feeding recommendation as a grain-free mash

Preparation and guidance:

• Warm: Mix approx. 1.0 to 2.0 litres of mash with 1.5 times the amount of hot water, allow to steep for 15 to 20 minutes, and feed lukewarm.
• Cold: Mix with the same amount of cold water and allow to steep for approx. 20 minutes.
• 1 litre marstall Bergwiesen-Mash = approx. 400 grams
• Always prepare fresh and remove any uneaten food from the trough for hygiene reasons.

Rationing guidance:

• If feeding more than 150 g per 100 kg of body weight, divide the daily amount into at least 2 rations.
• Contains no added vitamins or minerals and can be combined individually with other feeds.
• Recommendations are generally based on a roughage intake (hay) of 1.5 kg per 100 kg of body weight per day.

The base consists of gently warm-air-dried Allgäu meadow grasses rich in valuable raw fibre. Linseed and extracted linseed meal provide plant mucilages that form a protective film over the stomach and intestinal mucosa, along with essential omega-3 fatty acids.

Complemented by spent grain, brewer's yeast, fibre-rich apple pomace, and a selected blend of herbs, this mash gently supports natural gastrointestinal function. Containing no added vitamins or minerals, it integrates flexibly into any existing feeding plan, making it ideal for older or sensitive horses as well as providing tasty variety in daily meals.
