Rationing guidance:

• 1 litre Marstall Haferfrei = approx. 525 grams
• The specified feed quantities should be divided into several small portions throughout the day (at least 2 partial rations).
• Recommendations are generally based on a roughage intake (hay) of 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight per day.

A balanced concentrate ration requires high gastrointestinal tolerance and a reliable supply of nutrients. Marstall Haferfrei deliberately omits oats, relying instead on an easily digestible combination of hydrothermally processed barley and maize flakes. Thermal processing allows the starch contained to be efficiently absorbed in the small intestine and utilised optimally by the horse.

This traditional muesli is fully mineralised and vitaminised, featuring an increased vitamin E content to support cellular protection. Thanks to a specifically tailored calcium-to-phosphorus ratio of 3:1, Marstall Haferfrei is suitable not only as a standalone complementary feed, but also for mixing with oats or other grain-based concentrates, allowing daily rations to be adjusted flexibly to individual energy requirements.
