This grain-, soy- and molasses-free composition does not contain any added sugar and is rich in crude fibre and protein, such as from alfalfa. The mixture can support targeted weight gain while maintaining a steady condition. WeightLift contains a high content of essential amino acids as well as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids to provide the most important building blocks for normal endurance performance and muscle building. Highly concentrated rice bran can support the body's condition as a source of energy. Furthermore, rice bran in combination with linseed oil can promote a shiny coat.

The recipe does not impair the glucose and muscle metabolism or the digestive system. This is because it contains only one source of starch - starch from rice bran is digested more slowly.

Thanks to a high alfalfa content, the small pellets have a balanced fibre content, which contributes to normal digestion and stimulates chewing as well as saliva production. It contains brewer's yeast that can also support intact intestinal flora.
